Free admission – Les Invalides Army Museum

Entry is free without a ticket or reservation for eligible visitors, upon presentation of valid ID or proof of status.

Who qualifies for free admission?

  • Under 18s (with valid ID)
  • EU/EEA residents under 26 (for permanent collections only, with valid ID)
  • Active and retired military personnel, and reservists
  • Ministry of Armed Forces civil staff
  • Disabled visitors (and one accompanying person)
  • ICOM and ICOMOS members (current year badge required)
  • Members of associated Friends societies (Musée de l’Armée, Sabretache, Musée de l’Empéri, Musée de la Légion d’honneur, etc.)
  • Journalists (with valid national or international press card)
  • Job seekers from the EU/EEA (with proof dated within 6 months and photo ID)
  • Social minimum benefit recipients (with RSA certificate and ID)
  • Minimum pension recipients (with annual certificate of allowance)
  • National Orphans and residents of the National Institution of Invalids
  • French national museum curators (with valid certificate or ID)
  • Tourism professionals in the Paris region (with valid ID)
  • Holders of the French Pass Education (for permanent collections only)
  • Licensed national tour guides
  • Holders of a CIC Pass (up to 6 persons)

Free admission to the Relief Maps Museum

  • Ministry of Culture staff (active or retired) (one companion per person)

Who qualifies for reduced rates?

  • Groups of 10+ people (with prior reservation)
  • Veterans
  • Holders of a French or EU “large family” card
  • Navigo monthly or annual card holders (online tickets only)
  • Holders of the French Culture Card (valid for the holder and one guest)
  • Adults accompanying a child on weekends (excluding July–August, max 2 adults per child, online only)

Free or reduced entry is available for self-guided visits upon presentation of valid supporting documents.
