Conditions for Free Admission at the Centre des Monuments Nationaux

Free for eligible persons

  • Social situations: Job seekers, beneficiaries of RSA, ASS, AER, ATS, ATA, ADA, AAH, ASI, widow’s allowance, minimum old-age pension, AME, CSS, refugees, subsidiary protection, APS, transport solidarity card, etc.
  • Disability-related situations: CMI card "priority" or "disability", free companion.
  • Youth: Under 18 years old, 18-25 years old EU nationals or long-term residents (valid ID or residence permit required).
  • Professionals: Teachers with Education Pass, accredited tour guides, visual artists affiliated with MDA.

All beneficiaries must present a valid supporting document (less than 6 months old for certificates).

Free Admission Conditions at CMN Monuments

The Centre des Monuments Nationaux grants free entry to many visitors under certain conditions. Here are the eligible categories:

Eligible Categories for Free Admission

  • Under 18 years old (upon presentation of valid ID)
  • 18-25 years old EU nationals or long-term residents (residence permit or visa valid for more than 4 months)
  • Persons with disabilities holding a CMI card marked "disability" or "priority," or AAH, ASI certificates, etc.
    Companion free of charge if specified.
  • Job seekers from the EU/EEA with a France Travail certificate less than 6 months old
  • Recipients of social minimum benefits: RSA, ASS, AER, ATS, ADA, AME, APS, ASV, ASPA, CSS, etc.
  • Refugees and beneficiaries of subsidiary protection (supporting documents required)
  • French teachers with a valid Education Pass
  • Accredited tour guides with a professional card
  • Artists affiliated with the Maison des Artistes (specific status)
  • First Sundays from November to March: Free entry for all
  • European Heritage Days: Free entry for all

A valid personalized supporting document is required to benefit from free admission. This can include:

  • CAF or France Travail certificate less than 6 months old
  • CMI card marked "disability" or "priority"
  • CSS, AME, APS card or certificate, etc.
